During the lifecycle of the project, HS2 Ltd and its supply chain will create at least 2000 apprenticeship opportunities across a wide range of disciplines and specialisms. Apprenticeship roles across HS2 Ltd and its supply chain provide individuals with the opportunity to learn from the very best in the industry, whilst gaining hands on experience and working towards recognised qualifications.
HS2 Ltd launched its first apprenticeships in 2017, welcoming 25 apprentices on a 2 year programme across 3 disciplines. Following on from this success, HS2 has continued to recruit apprentices on an annual basis, aligning recruitment to the needs of the business and the relevant stages of the project.
At HS2 Ltd we offer 2 year rotational programmes across a range of business areas including project management, IT, finance, and Cyber Security. Our apprenticeship programmes involve working alongside industry leading experts whilst gaining experience across a variety of placements. In addition, each apprentice is assigned a personal mentor and a buddy who are there to provide advice, guidance and support.
